For Indian residents: (a) Original, valid Driving Licence, and (b) Valid Government Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID).
For International visitors: (a) Original Domestic Driving Licence accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP), (b) Valid Passport, and (c) Valid Indian Visa. Original documents must be physically presented during vehicle handover.

Yes, an original, valid motor vehicle driving licence is strictly mandatory for all self-drive rentals. Learning licences or temporary slips cannot be accepted. For chauffeur-driven hires where our professional driver operates the vehicle, the passenger is only required to present valid identification proof.

The minimum age to rent and drive a self-drive vehicle with CarsZone is 21 years for economy, sedan, and standard SUV categories, with at least 1 full year of driving experience. For luxury categories (BMW, Mercedes-Benz), the minimum renter age is 25 years.

Rental charges are billed on a 24-hour cycle starting from the vehicle handover time. Standard rentals include a generous baseline allowance of 250 km per day (300 km for Innova Crysta). Kilometres driven beyond the included allowance are charged at the published vehicle-specific overage rate (e.g. $0.15/km for economy up to $0.45–$0.55/km for luxury). Fuel, highway tolls, and parking fees are borne by the renter.

Yes, a refundable security deposit is mandatory for all self-drive vehicles. The deposit amount ranges from $100 for hatchbacks, $150–$200 for sedans and SUVs, up to $500–$700 for luxury limousines. The deposit is refunded within 24–48 hours after vehicle return, following a standard post-trip physical inspection and FASTag toll clearance check.

Yes. You may modify your travel dates, vehicle category, or pickup time by contacting CarsZone customer service via telephone (+18557592079) or email ([email protected]) at least 12 hours prior to scheduled handover. Modification approvals depend on fleet availability for the revised itinerary.

Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled pickup time incur no cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled handover are subject to a one-day rental charge or administrative fee to cover fleet reserving costs. Yes, airport transfers to and from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA Mumbai - T1 & T2) are available with advance notice. Please provide flight arrival/departure details so our dispatch team can confirm availability and ensure timely airport handover.
