1. General Cancellation Principle
At CarsZone, we understand that travel itineraries may shift due to unforeseen circumstances. Because reserving a vehicle removes that specific fleet unit from availability for other customers, cancellations are subject to the fair timeline structure outlined below.
2. Cancellation Deadlines & Applicable Charges

3. Booking Modification Requests
You may request modifications to your rental start time, duration, or vehicle model by calling our customer desk at +18557592079 at least 12 hours prior to scheduled handover. Modifications are subject to fleet availability for the revised itinerary. If the requested vehicle is unavailable, you may choose another model or cancel in accordance with Section 2.
4. Security Deposit Return Procedure
The refundable security deposit is never forfeited for cancellations made prior to vehicle dispatch. For completed rentals, the security deposit is processed for return within 24 to 48 banking hours following vehicle check-in and inspection, minus any verified fuel shortfall or FASTag toll charges.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Eligible refunds are processed back to the original method of payment (bank account, UPI, or card) within 5 to 7 business days depending on your issuing bank's settlement cycle. A digital refund confirmation advice with transaction reference is provided via email or SMS.
